Guardian Credit Union coming to the Town of Pine Level

A new financial institution is coming to the Autauga County town of Pine Level.

A groundbreaking ceremony was held Wednesday for the new Guardian Credit Union at 101 County Road 92. That location is near the Dollar General on U.S. Highway 31.

Mayor Zachary Bigley tells Action 8 News that it will be the first credit union inside the town limits.

Guardian officials say the credit union is expected to open by the end of 2025.

Pine Level became its own town in 2023 and is working to expand its business and tax base. This year, the Alabama Legislature passed a bill to allow the town the opportunity to extend its corporate limits, especially toward Exit 186 on Interstate 65.
