Friday morning was dry with fairly abundant sunshine for a change. Temperatures responded by warming into the upper 80s to low 90s by early afternoon. Temperatures likely peak in the low to mid 90s Friday afternoon. Meanwhile, shower and storm coverage likely remains isolated. The best chance for rain looks to be in west Alabama through the evening. Elsewhere, the sky remains partly cloudy. Friday night becomes mainly dry after midnight with lows in the low 70s.
