Millbrook police have arrested a Montgomery man for theft at a major retailer.

Police Chief P.K. Johnson says on June 19, Millbrook police were notified by Walmart Loss Prevention staff members that 39-year-old Terrence Lamons, who was suspected in multiple theft cases at the store, was currently onsite.

Johnson said officers arrived and took Lamons into custody without incident.

Lamons was initially charged with two counts of Organized Retail Theft.

Additionally, Walmart Loss Prevention staff signed warrants for Theft of Property 4th Degree and Trespassing for the merchandise he allegedly stole from the business on June 19, prior to being taken into custody.
