Summer Heat On The Rise!

The summer heat and humidity will be in full force this week.  Temps will soar into the 90s for highs but feels like temps will range between 100 to 105.  Fortunately, rain chances will be increasing Wednesday through the later half of the week.  More shower or t-storms around will help us beat the heat in spots.

In the meantime, we expect a quiet evening and overnight period.  Our sky will be mostly clear with temps hovering the in the 80s through evening and only falling into the mid 70s for overnight lows.

Tuesday is looking mostly sunny and rather hot with temps climbing into the mid 90s.  You factor in the humidity and it will feel more like 100 to 105.  A few isolated showers or t-storms will be possible but most miss out on any kind of rain activity.

Our rain chances will be increasing Wednesday through the rest of the work week.  Scattered showers and t-storms will be developing in the afternoon heating. Storms that do occur will be capable of heavy downpours, frequent lightning strikes and gusty winds.

The heat this week will be reaching the danger level and it’s important for you to not over do it.  We suggest you slow down and take a bit easy during the peak heating hours.  You will want to stay hydrated during these very hot and humid days.
