Typical Summer-Time Conditions
The summer heat will be backing down just a bit over the next several days. Temps will return to the lower 90s highs and the feels like temps will range between 95 to 100. It’s basically typical summer-time conditions for now.
In the meantime, we expect rain and t-storms to move through the area overnight. Some storms could be strong to possibly severe. The main threat will be damaging winds up to 60 mph. Looks like temps drop will drop into the lower to mid 70s for overnight lows.
Thursday will start out mostly sunny and temps will climb into the lower to mid 90s by late afternoon. You factor in the humidity and it will feel more like 96 to 100. A few isolated showers or t-storms will develop during the late afternoon heating. Any storms that do develop will be capable of damaging wind gust up to 60mph.
We expect scattered showers and t-storms to develop in the afternoon heating the rest of this week and over the weekend. Storms that do occur will be capable of heavy downpours, frequent lightning strikes and gusty winds. Temps will come down but still reaching the lower 90s for highs. Heat index values will continue to range between 95 to 100.
