Area firefighters battle four fires overnight
Firefighters across the River Region were busy overnight battling four fires.
The first one happened around 9:35 p.m. Wednesday in the 3200 block of Margaret Ann Drive in Montgomery.
Montgomery firefighters arrived to find a mobile home up in flames.
There were no injuries reported to civilians or firefighters.
The cause is under investigation.
The second one happened around 10:47 p.m. at an apartment complex in the 400 block of Taylor Oaks Circle.
Montgomery firefighters arrived to find the three story building with smoke and flames showing from the roof.
Everyone was evacuated from the building. There were no injuries reported to civilians or firefighters.
Investigators are trying to determine the cause, but an Action 8 viewer says they heard a loud boom right before the fire happened.
The third fire happened about 30 minutes later when firefighters were called to a house fire in the 700 block of Eliza Place.

Prattville firefighters were also busy last night battling a house fire.
It happened at a home on Sydney Drive.
Prattville Fire says everyone got out safely and no one was injured.
The Fire Marshal’s Office is working to determine the cause, but fire officials say it appears to be from a lightning strike.
