Summer Heat Along With Scattered Showers & T-storms

The summer heat will be backing down just a bit over the next several days.  Temps will return to the lower 90s highs and the feels like temps will range between 95 to 100.  It’s basically typical summer-time conditions for now.

In the meantime, we expect only a few showers or possibly t-storms to move through the area during the evening.   Looks like temps drop will drop into the lower to mid 70s for overnight lows.

Friday will start out  mostly sunny and temps will climb into the upper 80s to lower to 90s by late afternoon.  You factor in the humidity and it will feel more like 95 to 100.  Scattered showers and  t-storms will develop during the late afternoon heating. Any storms that do develop will be capable of damaging wind gust up to 60mph.

We expect scattered showers and t-storms to develop in the afternoon heating over the weekend and most of next week. Storms that do occur will be capable of heavy downpours, frequent lightning strikes and gusty winds. Temps will come down but still reaching the lower 90s for highs. Heat index values will continue to range between 95 to 100.
