The last day of June looks hot and humid with a good chance for showers and storms during the afternoon and evening. Before cooling rain arrives, temperatures warm into the low 90s with higher heat indices. The first day of July looks similar. Rain coverage decreases Wednesday, and becomes very low Thursday and the 4th of July. Only stray to isolated showers or storms appear possible late this week. High temperatures may approach the mid 90s as a result.

Rain coverage remains low for the rest of the Holiday weekend. That likely results in higher heat. High temperatures may approach or reach the mid 90s Thursday through Sunday. Meanwhile, rain chances likely remain low, with only isolated showers or storms each day.
