Splash pad opens for the summer in Selma
There’s a fun way to beat the heat this summer in Selma.
The city’s splash pad at Riverfront Park is open for kids young and old to enjoy.
It’s open Monday through Saturday — from 10AM to 1PM and again from 3PM to 6PM.
On Sunday, it is open from 3PM to 7PM.
“It’s refreshing. I sometimes walk in myself and try to just cool off when I need to,” Selma Parks and Recreation Director Gerald Barron told Action 8 News.
The splash pad is one of several outdoor recreational activities available in the city this summer.
