Three of the ten suspects are facing human trafficking charges — while charges for the other seven are drug related — and include trafficking cocaine.

Demopolis Police Chief Rex Flowers says 34 year old Shanikqua Shante Johnson — 40 year old Mark Key Gamble — and 34 year old DeCarlos Antawn Johnson — all of Demopolis — are now facing human trafficking charges — following an investigation involving a juvenile female runaway from the Madison County area.

Flowers says Shaniqua Johnson and Terrance Terrell Collier of Huntsville picked up the juvenile and brought her to Demopolis for the purpose of having her engage in sexual activity for money.

He says Gamble and Decarlos Johnson were arrested after further investigation of the case — found they had also participated in criminal activity with the juvenile.
