ACTION 8 UPDATE: Victim identified in Montgomery fatal shooting
Montgomery police have released the identity of the man killed in a shooting Friday just off Troy Highway.
It happened around 6:20 p.m. Friday in the 6000 block of Sherburn Road.
Once officers arrived, they found an adult male victim, identified as 20-year-old La’Byrion Caffey, of Montgomery, with a fatal gunshot wound.
Caffey was pronounced dead on the scene.
No word on any suspects at this time.
