Auburn linebacker released from the team after arrest for drug related charges

Former Auburn linebacker, D’Angelo Barber, was arrested and charged with Trafficking in Marijuana, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia on Monday according to the Tallapoosa County Narcotics Task Force.

Action 8 has confirmed with Auburn University that Barber has been released from the team, and the athletic department has given this statement on the matter,

“We are aware of the situation, are gathering the facts, and will address the situation.”
