Single-vehicle crash shuts down southbound lane of I-85 in Macon County

MACON COUNTY, Alabama – A single-vehicle crash involving a commercial vehicle has shut down the southbound lane of Interstate 85 in Macon County.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the crash happened around 6:45 A.M. Friday near the 21 mile marker. ALEA says the lane will be shut down for an undetermined amount of time.
Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division are currently investigating and will provide updates accordingly.
