Suspect arrested in Opelika homicide that leaves one dead, two injured

A Tuskegee man is in custody in connection to a fatal shooting in Opelika.

Around 10:40 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to the 700 block of Herndon Street in response to a shooting.

Once they arrived, they found multiple victims with gunshot wounds.

One of the victims was pronounced dead on the scene. Two additional victims were transported to area hospitals for treatment.

18-year-old Kentravious Rashaun Lark was arrested for murder, attempted murder, first degree burglary and first degree robbery.

This case remains under investigation.
