Better rain chances, less hot through Friday and into the weekend
AL93, the area of low pressure located near the Mississippi/Louisiana coast Thursday afternoon, looks unlikely to become a tropical cyclone. Nonetheless, impacts to central and south Alabama remain the same- enhanced chances for rain for the rest of the week, into the weekend. Showers and storms become scattered to numerous Thursday afternoon. Rain limits high temperatures to the upper 80s to low 90s, but with higher heat indices.
