Man charged with capital murder in Alexander City homicide
A man has been killed in a home invasion robbery in Alexander City.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, special agents with the State Bureau of Investigation were called to a home in the 4000 block of Washington Street late yesterday morning. That’s where they found 32-year-old Toyias Gopher of Alexander City dead of a gunshot wound.
ALEA says 22-year-old Steven Abercrombie of Alexander City has been arrested and charged with capital murder. He is being held in the Tallapoosa County Jail.
No other information has been released.
