Montgomery man killed in pickup truck crash

A Montgomery man has been killed in a wreck involving a pickup truck.

Montgomery police say 73-year-old John Carl Smith was driving the truck when he wrecked on Upper Wetumpka Road near Columbus Street. Smith was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the wreck happened Saturday, July 19, at about 4PM.

No other details were released.
