Local woman makes t-shirts to help Texas communities devastated by recent fatal floods

A local woman is using her faith-based clothing store to help others in need.

It all started when Taylor Moore, the owner and creator of Tees by Taylor, saw communities devastated by the recent flooding in Texas. Moore decided to make and sell t-shirts that say Texas Strong to help those affected by the devastating floods.

Moore, however, never thought her small idea would explode into something bigger that she ever could have imagined.

Moore’s Texas Strong shirt sales have already garnered over $300,000. She said that all proceeds will be going back to Texas through Samaritan’s Purse.

Texas Strong shirts will be sold on Taylor Moore’s website until Wednesday, July 23.
