One dead, one injured in pickup truck crash in Elmore County

One man is dead and another has been injured in a pickup truck crash in Elmore County.

Alabama State Troopers say 31-year-old James Tucker of Wetumpka was driving the truck, which hit a ditch and overturned. Investigators say he was not using a seat belt.

Tucker was taken to Elmore Community Hospital in Wetumpka where he died.

In addition, state troopers say a passenger, 29-year-old Dylan Sullivan of Wetumpka, was injured and taken to Jackson Hospital in Montgomery for treatment.

The wreck happened at about 6PM last night on Redland Road, about three miles west of Wetumpka.
