8 ON YOUR SIDE CONSUMER ALERT: About 630,000 Frigidaire-branded mini fridges are being recalled.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission says electrical components could short-circuit and start a fire.
At least 26 incidents have been reported, leading to more than $700,000 in property damage.
The refrigerators were sold nationwide from 2020 through 2023 at Walmart stores, Walmart’s website and on Amazon.
If you have one, stop using it, throw it away and ask for your money back.
