Montgomery firefighters battle early morning house fire
Montgomery firefighters spent part of the morning battling a house fire.
Firefighters were called around 5:41 a.m. Saturday to a home at the corner of Oak and Ridgecrest streets. That area is close to I-65.
Once they arrived, they found a single story home with smoke and flames showing.
Crews were able to put out the fire. No one was home at the time of the incident.
There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
