Pedestrian struck, killed in Montgomery

A pedestrian has been struck and killed by a car in Montgomery.

Police say on Friday, July 25, at about 8:14PM, police were called to the area of Eastern  Boulevard and Interstate 85 in reference to a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.

That’s where they found 35-year-old Eric Marco Jones of Montgomery, who was pronounced dead. There were no other injuries reported.  

The investigation is ongoing, and police say no further information is available for release.
