Dilapidated houses have been replaced by colorful, new homes with fenced in backyards.

The Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America is the nonprofit housing organization responsible for the rebuild.

“It’s a showcase of the properties that we’ve built,” said Curtis Wimberly.

“The properties will be open for your viewing. You can go in and look around, see the amenities that come with them. We’re going to have fun, food and music.”

The city of Selma — and the Selma Housing Authority are partnering with NACA — in the ongoing revitalization effort.
