The Heat Advisory for Montgomery and other areas has been extended through Thursday
Montgomery’s heat index reached at least 113 degrees Tuesday afternoon, with an actual temperature of 98 and extremely high humidity.
The heat shouldn’t be quite as intense today and tomorrow, but still strong enough to produce an unhealthy environment for outdoor work and exercise.
