Security guard arrested at Bullock Correctional Facility

A contract security guard at Bullock Correctional Facility has ben arrested on charges of promoting prison contraband.

The Alabama Department of Corrections says on Tuesday, July 29, the ADOC Law Enforcement Services Division investigated Treasure Williams for suspected promotion of prison contraband.

ADOC says Williams was arrested at the prison and a search warrant was conducted at her home in Barbour County where the following was recovered:

415 grams marijuana
90 grams of methamphetamine
6 THC candy bars
Assorted pills
One handgun

Williams, who is a contract security guard with Allied Security, was charged with conspiracy to commit a controlled substance crime in Bullock County. She was also charged with possession of marijuana in the first degree and trafficking methamphetamine in Barbour County.

She was fired from her position by ADOC.

Investigators say also arrested at the home in Barbour County was Orlando Laster. He was charged with possession of marijuana in the first degree, possession of a controlled substance and certain persons forbidden to possess a gun.

The investigation is ongoing and additional charges may be pending, ADOC said.
