Friday marks the start of August and better rain chances for our area. Showers and storms become scattered to numerous Friday afternoon, with some lingering into the evening. While rain fades away Friday night, showers and storms become scattered to numerous again on Saturday. Better rain chances result in less heat over the weekend, with high temperatures in the low 90s Saturday and Sunday.

Rain chances remain elevated early next week, but may decrease some Wednesday and beyond. Meanwhile, the heat remains reasonable for the first week of August, with high temperatures in the low 90s each day.
