Montgomery teenager killed in Chilton County crash

A Montgomery teenager has been killed in a single-car crash in Chilton County.

Alabama State Troopers say the 17-year-old was driving a car that left the road, went down a steep embankment and overturned. The victim’s name hasn’t been released. Investigators say the teen wasn’t using a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The wreck happened at about 6:15PM  yesterday on Chilton County Road 16, about two miles north of Plantersville.
