Enjoy The Break In The Heat While It Last
The break in the extreme summer heat has been nice but it won’t be sticking around for much longer. We gradually see more sunshine and temps begin to respond. Looks like upper 80s to lower 90s coming back but that’s still below the average highs for this time of the year.
The combination of clouds, showers, and northeasterly winds are providing this milder weather pattern. We expect this setup to continue into Tuesday. There will be more breaks in the clouds and that will allow for some warming. Mid to upper 80s are likely areawide. The sunshine/warming will help spark showers and possibly a few t-storms during the afternoon.
You can expect to see warmer temps as the week progresses. Afternoon high temps will manage to reach the upper 80s to lower 90s. The daytime heating will continue to trigger those scattered afternoon showers and t-storms.
