ACTION 8 UPDATE: CrimeStoppers says a man wanted on a child sex-related charge from out of state has been arrested in Montgomery. It says the arrest was made by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

CrimeStoppers says a man wanted on a child sex-related charge from out of state could be in the Montgomery area.

It says 48-year-old James Thomas Meyers is wanted for predatory criminal sexual assault of a child. CrimeStoppers says the alleged offense happened in Winnebago County, Illinois, but authorities believe Meyers is in the Montgomery area.
