Two-A-Days: Booker T. Washington
The Golden Eagles finished up last season with a 5-4 record, but this season head coach DeAndre Austin and his team are hungry for more. The 2025-26 season will be Austin’s second year as the head coach of the Golden Eagles.
After reflecting back on the offseason and all the preparation that took place, Austin mentions that this offseason was one of the most impactful of his career.
“You know last year we had a brand new offense brand new defense, so having the opportunity for teams to have that film on you, now they know a little bit more about you and how you do things. You know it’s not going to be as many surprises jumping off the film at you as you would expect,” explains Austin.
Booker T. Washington gets their 2025-26 campaign underway on Friday, August 22nd at home against Eufaula.
