Two new businesses coming to shopping center on Atlanta Highway

Construction crews are preparing the storefront at a shopping center on Atlanta Highway to welcome two new businesses.

Action 8 News has confirmed that O’Reilly Auto Parts and Beauty & Beyond will be coming to the Bell Plaza Shopping Center, located at the corner of Atlanta Highway and Bell Road.

The two retailers will occupy the former Virginia College space, splitting it in two. Other businesses in the shopping center include Dollar General and El Mezcal Mexican restaurant.

The 30,000 square foot space has been vacant since the closing of Virginia College in 2018. It was previously home to a Food World grocery store and earlier, a Bruno’s Supermarket.

It will be four to five months before the work is finished and the stores can open.
