Daily rain chances continue, but mid-90° heat returns this weekend
Unlike Wednesday, our area was mainly dry through midday Thursday. However, showers and storms may become scattered about during the afternoon. Otherwise, expect a partly cloudy sky on average with high temperatures in the low 90s. A few showers or storms linger during the evening, but Thursday night looks mainly dry. Otherwise, the sky may remain partly cloudy with lows in the low to mid 70s.
Friday could be hotter than Thursday, with high temperatures in the mid 90s in many locations. However, showers and storms likely become scattered about during the afternoon, so many locations may also get cooled down at some point. Rain coverage looks a little lower, but not zero, Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Meanwhile, temperatures likely peak in the mid 90s in most locations each afternoon.
Rain coverage looks even lower early next week, Monday through Wednesday. Only isolated showers or storms form each day at best. Meanwhile, high temperatures remain in the mid 90s Monday and Tuesday. After that, it looks like the afternoon heat decreases a bit, with high temperatures back in the low 90s Thursday and Friday at least. Rain chances also increase again late next week into next weekend.
