Buckmasters Expo wraps up in downtown Montgomery

Downtown Montgomery was filled with outdoor enthusiasts this weekend for The 30th annual Buckmasters Expo.
The expo was held at the Montgomery Convention Center from Friday through Sunday.
Prizes were given away and there was even an Easton Red Dot shoot-off…so that hunters could compete against each other to see who who had the best skills.
“This is great. I bought a bunch of stuff and for super cheap, and it’s been awesome. They got a bunch of stuff here that would help any honor so whether it’s Turkey deer dog dog, whatever they got it,” says Matt Dorough of Auburn.
The event also allowed outdoorsmen to customize their hunting rifles by hand dipping them.
Children and adults loved riding the mechanical bull as well.
“This is my first year. We came up here on Friday and we’re about to go home, but I love it so much. I’d like I’ve always been interested in the little homemade shops and stuff like that, and this is just, this is what it is that whole big room full of that type of stuff People selling their own little businesses, and I love it,” said Kaylee Yeakos of Paxton, Florida.
Animal lovers also had a chance to pet some hawks from the Alabama Hawking Association.
Special guests included Macy Watkins and Aly and Cody Hall.
