Man killed in wreck in Chilton County
A man has been killed in a wreck in Chilton County.
Alabama State Troopers say 29-year-old Johnny Mims of Jemison crashed the SUV he was driving at about 12:08 this afternoon.
Investigators say the SUV left the roadway and overturned. They say Mims was not using a seat belt, was ejected and died at the scene.
The crash happened on Chilton County Road 24 near Chilton County Road 375, approximately nine miles southwest of Clanton.
