ASF’s “Over the Rainbow” Gala raises money for education programs

The Wizard of Oz might be over, but it was still a witchy and wonderful time in Montgomery this weekend.

The Alabama Shakespeare Festival held its annual fundraiser gala Saturday night at Wynlakes Country Club. This year’s theme was “Over the Rainbow.”

Guests were greeted by a giant Wicked Witch of the West, along with other witches on roller blades and flying monkeys.

ASF’s annual gala raises funds for its education programs, celebrates individuals who embody their mission, and provided a sneak peek of the performances coming up in their 2025-2026 season.

The gala also featured an online auction that featured Auburn football tickets, dinner at La Jolla, framed costume design renders, getaways and much more.
