Still hot, some storms Sunday; Cooler, drier, less humid next week

Saturday was a hot and humid day, and rain coverage remained low during the afternoon with the sky becoming partly to mostly sunny in many locations. A few showers/storms were still ongoing during the evening, though they likely fade away by around midnight. The sky becomes partly cloudy overnight with lows in the low to mid 70s.

Sunday looks hot and somewhat humid, with at least widely scattered showers and storms during the afternoon. High temperatures range from the upper 80s to low 90s. Some rain lingers into the evening, but fades away Sunday night. Our weather pattern changes Sunday night thanks to a somewhat rare late-August cold front. Sunday night lows fall into the upper 60s.

Low temperatures may be in the low to mid 60s for the rest of the week, with high temperatures in the 80s. Meanwhile, rain chances remain near-zero through Thursday, though may increase a touch Friday through Labor Day. Meanwhile, highs may remain in the upper 80s with lows in the upper 60s.
