Feeling A Little Bit Like Fall For A Change
There’s a slight hint of fall in the air this week. We’re on the backside of a frontal passage and the air flowing into the state is cool and dry. This will set the stage for several days of comfortable conditions due to lower humidity levels. It’s rare for August, so enjoy while it last because our summer heat will return before you know it.
In the meantime, we’re expecting a clear sky and mild temps overnight. Looks like we will bottom out in the lower to mid 60s for overnight lows. Tuesday is setting up to be nice and mild with temps climbing into the mid 80s.
The dry and milder weather conditions will continue for Wednesday and Thursday. We may even see temps dropping into the upper 50s in spots Wednesday morning. Daytime highs will still manage the mid 80s through Thursday afternoon.
It looks like moisture will begin to return and increase late week into the weekend. We will need to introduce the chance for scattered showers and t-storms Friday through the upcoming weekend. Temps will start out in the mid to upper 60s and daytime highs will still manage the mid to upper 80s.
