A Fairly Quiet Weather Pattern For Now

It looks like we have entered into a fairly quiet weather pattern for several days this week.  Rain chances will remain slim but the heat will be ramping up as the week progresses.  We’re facing some 90+ degree heat over the upcoming weekend.

In the meantime, we’re expecting a partly cloudy sky around the area tonight. Temps will drop into the lower to mid 60s for lows.  Tuesday is looking similar to Monday with temps maybe a tad higher in spots. Mid to upper 80s are likely areawide.  It pretty much looks like a repeat for Wednesday.

Late week will reveal a frontal system on approach to the state Thursday.  It doesn’t look like much if any precipitation accompanying the system.  A surge of drier air spills into the region behind the frontal system. We’re under abundant sunshine and that should heat the dry air up.  We’re expecting lower to mid 90s Friday through Sunday.  Another mainly dry frontal system passes through over the weekend.  High pressure will build in behind the frontal passage and we’re back into another quiet weather pattern.  Looks like mainly sunny with temps topping out in the upper 80s and lows in the lower to mid 60s early next week.
