ACTION 8 UPDATE: Police release name of man shot and killed in Montgomery

ACTION 8 UPDATE: Montgomery police have released the name of the man shot and killed on Monday.

Police say the victim was 19-year-old Antwaun Hartwell of Montgomery.

As Action 8 News has reported, at about 4PM yesterday, officers were called to the 2800 block of Jan Drive. That ‘s in a neighborhood between Woodley Road and Troy Highway, outside of the bypass.

That’s where they found Hartwell, who was pronounced dead at the scene. He is the 45th homicide victim in Montgomery this year.
