Former Montgomery teacher indicted on sex charges involving a student
A former Montgomery teacher has been indicted on sex charges involving a student.
Details are limited, but a Montgomery County grand jury indicted 24-year-old Jaya Armstrong on August 22 for a school employee engaging in a sex act.
According to court records, Armstrong “intentionally or knowingly engaged in a sexual act” with a student under the age of 19.
Armstrong was placed in the Montgomery County Detention Facility on a $25,000 bond, but has since been released.
