Montgomery woman charged with robbery, kidnapping
A Montgomery woman is facing robbery and kidnapping charges.
Court records show 34-year-old Shaquita Anderson is charged with two counts of first-degree robbery and one count of first-degree kidnapping.
Records show this case happened on Monday, August 25, at around 2:08AM, at the Studio Lodge Extended Stay on Eastern Boulevard.
Those records show that Anderson and another suspect were standing on the side of the hotel with guns while other suspects fired guns, robbed two male victims of property, including money, a cell phone and jewelry.
The victims were forced into their vehicle at gunpoint.
Court records show Anderson followed the victim’s vehicle to Patterson Court where she helped in beating the victims and stripping them of their clothes.
The records say Anderson later entered the victims’ vehicle where she helped in the kidnapping of one of the victims by holding a pistol to his body while they drove around the city.
She is being held without bond.
