CrimeStoppers offers $1,000 reward to help solve Selma murder case

CrimeStoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest in a Selma murder investigation.

It hopes to help Selma police solve yesterday’s fatal shooting of 27-year-old Steven Kennedy.

Selma police say at about 9:30PM, they were called to 1809 Hinson Alley after getting a report of an unresponsive person.

That’s where they found Kennedy, who had been shot several times in the face, back and arms. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
