Warm days, mild nights, mainly dry with lots of sunshine this week

Monday was another mainly dry day across central and south Alabama. Thanks to the drier and cooler air behind the weekend cold front, morning low temperatures fell into the 50s in many locations. Humidity was a bit higher again than it was on Sunday, with some clouds in the mix during the day. Meanwhile, high temperatures were mostly below-average, in the low to mid 80s in most locations.

Monday night looks mostly clear and mild, with lows in the 60s. Tuesday and Wednesday look partly to mostly sunny and dry, with high temperatures in the mid to upper 80s. Temperatures trend higher late this week, with highs in the low 90s in many locations Thursday and Friday. Both days look dry with a mostly sunny sky. The weekend also looks mostly sunny and dry with highs near 90°.

Temperatures may trend hotter next week. High temperatures may approach the mid 90s Tuesday through Thursday. Meanwhile, overnight temperatures remain mild, with lows in the 60s each night. Our area likely remain dry over the next 7-10 days. However, a few showers appear possible around the middle of next week.
