Fire heavily damages Vivian O’Nay boutique on U.S. Highway 231, daycare evacuated
Firefighters are on the scene of a fire that is burning just off of U.S. Highway 231 between Montgomery and Wetumpka.
The Redland Volunteer Fire Department says the fire is at Vivian O’Nay, a women’s clothing store at 35oo Wetumpka Highway.
The fire department reports that all the children have been safely taken out from Little Lambs day care next door. The children have been relocated to a safe place.
The North Montgomery County Fire Department says no injuries have been reported.
Vivian O’Nay posted on Facebook that the fire started in the warehouse and spread through the building. The store says it will be closed until further notice, but it will return.
