Today, the governor, participating in the school’s 9/11 remembrance program, spoke with students about the importance of education. She emphasized that the future of Alabama and the United States depends on the learning capabilities of its students.
Ivey delivered this message to the students, saying in part:
“You are the future of our state and our nation. Let me share a phrase for every one of you to carry this school year, ‘Strong students, strong Alabama.'”
Alabama is now ranked 32nd nationwide in education, up from ranking 52nd in 2019.
