Mainly dry, warm days, mild nights, plenty of sunshine this weekend

Friday looks mainly dry but very warm with plenty of sunshine. Temperatures were already near 90° in most locations by midday. Expect high temperatures in the low 90s Friday afternoon with a partly to mostly sunny sky. While some models suggest a few brief, stray showers Friday afternoon, rain-free weather looks like the more likely scenario for the rest of the day. Friday night looks mainly clear and mild, with lows in the low to mid 60s.

Mainly dry and warm September weather continues this weekend. Saturday and Sunday look mostly sunny and rain-free, with highs in the low 90s and lows in the low to mid 60s. Next week begins mostly sunny and dry but hotter, with high temperatures approaching the mid 90s at least Monday and Tuesday. There’s a minimal chance for rain late next week into next weekend. However, many locations in our area may remain dry for the next 7-10 days.
