Selma man killed in Dallas County crash

A crash in Dallas County has claimed the life of a Selma man.

The two-vehicle crash happened around 6:20 p.m. Thursday on U.S. 80 near the 78 mile marker, approximately four miles west of Selma.

Officials with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency tell Action 8 News that 82-year-old Henry Jemison was fatally injured when the motorcycle he was driving hit a tractor trailer.

Jemison was pronounced dead on the scene.

ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division is investigating the cause of the crash.
