Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts celebrates the season with Fall Festival
Parents, children and art lovers got to enjoy a day full of fall fun at the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts.
Its Fall Festival was held Saturday.
People enjoyed browsing through art pieces from both local and regional artists, watch live demonstrations from the artists, listen to live music and enjoy delicious food and drinks from dozens of local food trucks and brewers.
There were also 30-minute art classes for children to enjoy. They got to make and take home fall-themed wreaths.
“Just take a chance, be curious,” Kenyah Fair-Young of the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts told Action 8 News. “If you’ve never gotten outside and enjoyed art before, this is your time to do it, your chance to do it. It’s a part of your quality of life. It helps with your mental state. It helps with your emotional state. So if you’re looking for something to help you feel grounded to give you a new sense, come to the museum of fine arts.”
The museum’s next event is the Art Crawl on September 24.
