‘Shindig’ raises money for Montgomery children’s advocacy center

Hundreds of people gathered at a Montgomery bar Sunday for a worthy cause.

Montgomery nonprofit Child Protect held its annual ‘Shindig’ at Red Bluff Bar near the Alabama River.

The event not only brings people together for an afternoon of fun and good food, but it also raises money for children who are victims of abuse.

All of the proceeds from the event benefit Child Protect’s Children’s Advocacy Center on South Perry Street.

Child Protect’s next event is the Swingin’ Fore Kids Golf Tournament on Friday, October 24.
