Happening Next Week: Montgomery Planning Commission
The City of Montgomery is getting ready for its monthly planning commission.
Action 8 News has found some items on next week’s agenda that you might be interested in knowing about.
Church of the Highlands is planning to build a Dream Center as its current location on Taylor Road.
A Dream Center is an outreach center that helps people meet their spiritual and physical needs.
In South Montgomery, a developer wants to build a 32-unit apartment building at the corner of Southmont Drive and East Delano Avenue.
And in East Montgomery, a hospitality group is planning to put a 149-room hotel at the corner of Eastchase Lane and Berryhill Road.
It is important to note that none of these items require action by the planning commission, but there will be a public hearing on each.
The meeting gets started Thursday, September 25, at 5:00 p.m. at Montgomery City Hall.
